US Citizens need a visa to travel to this country for both tourist & business purposes.
Please carefully check the visa requirements below.
For us to process your visa properly and on time you MUST send International Passport and Visa Service Request Form with the following TOURIST or BUSINESS VISA documents:
- Passport with validity of at least 6 months beyond intended stay and at least one BLANK VISA PAGE and signed;
- One application form, completed and signed. If born in China, please write your name in Chinese (Question 1);
- One passport photo;
- Complete and sign this Undertaking Statement, if you are in entertainment business and traveling to China as a tourist;
- For minors under the age of 16, a photocopy of Birth Certificate;
- Copy of airline tickets or travel itinerary;
- Original of Green Card/Document showing the status in USA;
- Hotel Reservation for Non-US citizens traveling to China as a tourist.
- Passport with validity of at least 6 months beyond intended stay and at least one BLANK VISA PAGE and signed;
- One application form, completed and signed. If born in China, please write your name in Chinese (Question 1);
- One passport size photo;
- Individuals in FILM PRODUCTION must provide a visa notice letter issued by relevant Chinese authorities (Fax copy is acceptable). Letter from the sponsor or counterpart in China is not sufficient;
- Copy of airline tickets or travel itinerary;
- Original of Green Card/Document showing the status in USA;
- Business letter from the company in USA;
- NOTE: Effective September 1, 2010 a Business Letter from the host company in China is also required (Fax or e-mail acceptable).
- Visa validity starts on the day the visa is issued and duration of stay in each trip is only 30 day.
- Chinese visa applicants born in China holding a new foreign passport should submit his/her Chinese passport/old foreign passport showing previous Chinese visas.
- A foreign-born child of Chinese origin, applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, should submit the original and one copy of his/her Birth Certificate, and the passports and foreign permanent residency card(s), such as US green card, of both parents.
- The applicant is not permitted to engage in activities which are not in conformity with the purpose of journey stated when applying.
