DOCUMENTS

For us to process your visa properly and on time, you MUST send International Passport & Visa a Service Request Form with the following TOURIST VISA documents:
  • Passport with validity of at least 6 months beyond intended stay and at least one BLANK VISA PAGE and signed
  • Two application forms, completed and signed
  • Two passport photos
  • Copy of airline ticket or flight itinerary
  • Immunization against cholera and anti-malaria pills are recommended
  • Copy of Green Card (Residency Card) for Non-US Citizens
  • For minors a notarized statement from the parent not traveling with minor. Address the statement to Tanzania Embassy in Washington DC, giving permission to the other parent to obtain the visa and take the minor to Tanzania.

For us to process your passport properly and on time, you MUST send International Passport & Visa a Service Request Form with the following TOURIST VISA documents:
  • Passport with validity of at least 6 months beyond intended stay and at least one BLANK VISA PAGE and signed
  • Two application forms, completed and signed
  • Two passport photos
  • Copy of airline ticket or flight itinerary
  • Copy of recent bank statement (Proof of sufficient funds for the trip)
  • Immunization against cholera and anti-malaria pills are recommended
  • Business letter on the company’s letterhead or an invitation from a Tanzanian
  • Copy of Green Card (Residency Card) for Non-US Citizens
  • Parental Approval for Minors

INFORMATION

  • Single and double entry visas are valid for 6 months from the date of issue for stays of up to 3 months.
  • For stays more than 3 months, special pass will be issued at any immigration office in Tanzania.
  • Yellow fever vaccination is not a requirement for entering Tanzania.
  • License or certificate for pets is required if traveling with pets.
  • A double entry visa is available by written request only (no additional fee).

*Multiple-Entry Visa: Foreigners who, because of their business or investments, need to make frequent visits to the United Republic of Tanzania are issued multiple-entry visas. Their validity ranges from one month to a year. Applications for multiple-entry visas are usually submitted by local contacts on behalf of the applicants. The fees for the visa are determined administratively; so-it is advised that prospective investors consult the appropriate authorities before making application for visas.
